SANDLIN PRAISES MOLDED FIBER GLASS COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT
Aberdeen,
S.D., November 19, 2007-
Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin released the following statement congratulating
the Aberdeen community on today's news that Molded Fiber Glass Company
will open a major wind turbine blade manufacturing plant there:
"I extend my
enthusiastic congratulations to the community of Aberdeen as we celebrate
this exciting announcement. I'm confident that Molded Fiber Glass Company
will make an invaluable contribution to the Aberdeen community and the
northeastern region of the state. This is an important economic development
initiative not only because of the jobs it will mean in Brown County,
but also because it represents our state's continued commitment the
renewable wind energy industry."
Rep. Herseth Sandlin
also extended her personal congratulations to Mr. Richard Morrison,
the President and CEO of Molded Fiber Glass. She said, "I was pleased
to have the opportunity to talk to Mr. Morrison over the past several
weeks, to relay my strong support for Aberdeen's candidacy and stress
the overwhelming positives of the Aberdeen community. Needless to say,
I'm very pleased the company has chosen to locate here, and I look forward
to continuing a strong relationship with Mr. Morrison and the Molded
Fiber Glass team."

Stephanie Herseth Sandlin serves South Dakota in the U.S. House of Representatives.
She is a member of the Blue Dog Coalition, a group of moderate Democrats
committed to fiscal discipline and strong national security, and is
co-chair of the Rural Working Group, which is dedicated to raising the
profile of issues important to rural America. She also serves on three
committees vital to South Dakota’s interests: Agriculture, Veterans’
