HERSETH SANDLIN ACCEPTING INTERN APPLICATIONS
Seeks
Interns for Fall Programs in Washington, Sioux Falls, Rapid City and
Aberdeen
July 11,
2007 – U.S.
Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin is accepting applications for fall internships
in her Washington, D.C., Aberdeen, Rapid City and Sioux Falls offices.
South Dakota natives who are current college students are encouraged
to apply.
Rep. Herseth Sandlin
said, “I would encourage any young South Dakotan with an interest in
public policy or government to apply for an internship with my office.
These positions will provide a close, firsthand look at how the federal
government works, and how my office strives to serve the needs of South
Dakotans.”
The Washington internship
will offer direct exposure to a wide range of duties in a Congressional
office, including firsthand experience with many aspects of the federal
government. The state office internships include involvement in day-to-day
contact with and outreach to South Dakotans who need assistance with
a federal government program. The deadline to apply is July 27th, 2007.
